Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain Essay -- civil war, blacks, freedom

Before the Civil War, slaveholding was what the commonwealth in the south considered the normal. It was all they knew. They had been taught that blacks where beneath the white spate. The Blacks didnt understand it, but to them it was a matter of life and death. They accepted it because they were scared of the consequences that followed. However, white people who helped the blacks were considered traitors. The blacks were stuck. They treasured freedom, but in the south it was almost unrealizable. If they ran and were caught they were killed and the people in the conglutination were the only people who would help. Even the northerner had trouble helping a extensive variety of blacks. Northerners tried, but they could never accomplish all that they wanted. One social occasion that was interesting was when southerners realized that blacks were human beings. Once they had this concept it was almost impossible to think of them as slaves or the workers. Slaver was a huge carve up o f the south and once huckleberry Finn was published it showed some of the problems in the United States, including slavery. In Huckleberry Finn, by arrange Twain there are three scenes that I would consider my favorites when Huck escapes from his dad, when King and Duke deceive a town and when Huck realized that Jim is a human being.In Huck Finn one of the spell points in the book was when Huck faked his death and met Jim on the island. Huck is locked into a cabin and his father periodically beets the poor boy. Human beings understructure be awful cruel to one another. His own dad beat him and tail him around the house trying to kill him. Eventually, Huck cant handle it anymore, and has a plan. He wont sit by and wait for his dad to kill him.
